Vanditha is the daughter of Vidya-Venkatesh Bhat, son of one-time celebrity dance director of Kannada Films Udupi Jayaram. Venkatesh runs a Interior Design establishment in Chennai and SriGovind is entreprenuer running a chemicals factory in Peenya, Bengaluru.
Wedding celebrations were for two days:
Get-together and Party:
Bride and grooms relations have a familiarization and get-together party with songs, skit, dance and stand up comedy for entertainment. It was about two hours program with variety of tasty dishes for buffet dinner.
Wedding ceremony:
Next morning (18th Oct) was the actual wedding ceremony, with set up on stage with Purohit taking charge of the proceedings. The bride enters the stage with relatives and friends in a procession, exchange garlands. Then follows KanyaDaana, Saptapadi, Mangalya Dharana as per purohits's instructions.
People who have gathered is the time for establishing lost contacts, networking and socializing.
Grand lunch, feast was arranged with variety of items served on banana leaf. Three-four sweets, tamboola and takeaways were also given to guests.
Wedding Reception: In the evening, again people gather, friends and relatives, to wish the newly married couple "Long and happy married Life" and again, buffet dinner with large number of varieties of items.
A number of filmy celebrities attended the reception to wish the couple. Among them, T S Nagabharana, Yogaraj Bhat, Girija Lokesh, Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and V Manohar.
A beautiful vegetable carving was on display in the buffet area for people to see. It is really amazing and must appreciate the creative work of the person.
So all in all, it was a grand wedding celebrations to remember.
