VISITING PLACES - KOCHI : DAY 1

January 5 - 7, 2019

Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala.

"God's Own Country", as they call it, Kerala State of India, is the third visit after Aleppy, (Al Puzha) Thitauvananthapuram and now Kochi.

Booking for air tickets and Country Club resort was done about two months ago. No fixed itinerary.

Previous day of departure, got a call from Country Club saying Resort at Kochi is under renovation and not possible to stay. Alternate accommodation was searched  in Airbnb (Homestay) and fixed for two nightstay at Benny Joseph's place. in Fort Kochi.

Day 1: Saturday, 5th January 2019 - Reached Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru by Volvo Bus, at 12.30pm and checked in for AirAsia flight to Kochi. The flight at 2.30pm departed on time and reached Kochi at 3.30pm, just one hour flying time.Took a Wuber taxi from the airport and reached Benny's Home stay in FortKochi. The family was co-ordial and friendly.

After refreshing, set out to see around the place, walking. Visited Biennale art exhibition centre we sat in the music program for while. The lady with accompanying on Mandolin and Tabla was singing Bhajans, explaining meaning of the songs rendered.

After the visit around we took an auto to Krishna Cafe along Palace road, had some dosa and walked to the room, which was about 20 minutes walk.
