Around Fort Kochi and Ernakulam
We started off after having brush and bath, walked to a nearby Bhagavathy Temple and continued walking till we reached a Vegetarian Restaurant and had breakfast. Idli, vada and coffee.

Continued walking and reached Balaji Temple, huge courtyard, and lot of birds around. Further we reached Sringeri Sharada Temple, which was closed as early as 9am. It is in a serene environment with beautiful pond with clear water and fishes.
Walking further, we reached Mattanchery Dutch Palace and two temples around.
We spent about an hour in the Palace museum, went to boatside, just behind the palace compound. Walked around Jew Market and Synagogue (Jewish Prayer Hall).

Took a boat ride in Kochi backwater for one hour (Rs. 1200 ), returned walking to Krishna Cafe for lunch. We took an auto to reach the room for rest.

At 4 pm, again took of to Ernakulam, a distance of 15 km by local bus , which took about 45 minutes to reach marine drive. We walked to Shree Hanuman Kovil Temple, where we met DeviPrasad, (sister's grand son). He is undergoing a course of Jyotisha and other Hindu procedure. Also visited Kerala Bhagavathy Temple and Tamilnadu Shiva Temple.
Ate some dosa in a clean and neat Gokul Vegetarian restaurant and walked to Jetty place from where we can go in a ferry boat to Fort Kochi. It is about 15 min ride, costing Rs4 and half per person. There must have been about 50 - 60 people in the boat.
