Son Rishikanth married to Kavitha Rajagopalan, hails from Kerala, and she organized Onam Getogether for relatives and friends, at her residence.

POOKKALAM

ONAM is festival celebrated people across the state, irrespecive of religion and caste.

It is also celebrated to honour the home coming of mythical Demon King Mahabali, kind hearted and generous King

Mahabali was devotee of Lord Vishnu, son of Virochan and grandson of Prahlada.

The celebrations include Pokkalam, Floral Designs, Onam Sadya Feast.

ONAM SADYA FEAST

Kavitha cooked more than 20 different vareity of dishes and food was served on Banana Leaf, squatting on the ground. The relatives and friends helping to serve the food.

Haldi-Kumkum with a gift was given to ladies by the host.

GANESHA UTSAVA SAMBHRAMA 2024 - NEIGHBOURHOOD

There inside stands the idol of huge huge Ganapa,  you raise your head and eyes to see the figure.  Really appreciate the effort and dedication of people around.

Ganapa is ready for VISARJANE (Immersion in water, in nearby pond), the procession on the main road with drums, beats, dance, and other attraction.

That is the presentation Ganesha by Blue Star Boys at CoffeeBoard Park, Kempapura.

Another Ganesha at 12th Cross of Bhuvaneshwarinagara.

It's Celebration, Celebration and Celebration ......

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - APPA/AMMA

Years fly, son Ravikanth married to Vidya, have a daughter cute Urvi (3+ years)

son Rishikanth married to Kavitha, have a son smart Atharv, also 3+ years,

and are we getting old........????

We spent some time visiting nearby Ganesha Idol at Kempapura and proceeded to Bombay Curry Restaurant at Manyatha Tech Park.

The day was spent nicely.....

GANESHA CHATURTHI SAMBHRAMA 2024

Festival of Ganesha Chaturthi Sambhrama continues.....

After performing pooja for three days, It was time to submerge Ganesha Idol in water, and people gather with so much fanfare, noise, crackers and dance, procession.

That is real celebrations...

Urvi, D/O son Ravikanth, had been to Sringeri forAKSHARAARAMBHA at Sri Sharadambha Sannidhaana.

Urvi, 3+ years, started to school. It's good procedure (Ritual) for a child to start their writing at the auspicious place.

It's very good thing that Ravi, Vidya had Urvi's Aksharaarambhbha at Sringeri and on a Auspicious Day, Ganesha Chaturthi.

RAVINDRA - VEENA : HOME VISIT

Ravindra-Veena from Kengeri were on a short visit to invite us for their son's wedding.

Ravindra is son of Late Vishwanathaih who was living in Kengeri, close ot my eledest brother , late Seetharama Somayaji.

A nice and friendly couple, meet him in some common function.

Spent a little less than an hour and went up to terrace and appreciate about our little garden.
