It's six months since SAROJINI TANTRY passed away and there was a ritual of Shrassda and Gopooja for the departed soul.
Close relatives were invited to witness the ritual and Gopuja at the temple premises and Sarijini's elder sister Leela Somayaj9 (My attide) also present.
The cow is regarded as a sacred animal in the sanathana dharma and performing pooja to the animal, it is believed that the departed soul will attain SADGATHI.
There was grand lunch after the ceremony, with sweet and paayasa with other usual items.
