KATI BASTI is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy where warm, medicated herbal oil is retained on the lower back inside a dough reservoir to relieve pain, stiffness, and inflammation.
You lie face down on a massage table, and the lower back is cleaned. A thick dough ring made from black gram flour is placed over your lumbar or sacral spine.
The warm oil stays on the back for 30 to 45 minutes, soaking deep into the skin, muscles, ligaments, and nerve roots.
PADA DHARA
Pada Dhara is an Ayurvedic treatment where a warm, continuous stream of medicated oil or herbal decoction is poured specifically over the feet.
Practitioners warm the specialized herbal oil to a safe, comfortable temperature. They pour it in a steady, rhythmic stream over the feet and lower ankles for a set time.
Hopefully my LOMBAR SPINE STENOSIS is improved.
