Art of Living premises, Kanakapura Road.
Art of Living premises in Bengaluru was established by H H Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji, a spiritual leader, in 1981, who preaches humanitarian value. It is about 25 km from Bengaluru, along Kanakapura Road.
There are number of programs, one of the most popular "Sudarshan Kriya" - process of self development, a powerful breathing technique. They say it incorporates specific natural rhythms of breath, harmonizing body, mind and emotions.
We visited Vishalakshi Mantap, meditaion hall, consisting of five tiers with designs of lotus petals surrounding it. Symbols of all major religions of the world are depicted inside hall.
There is also free shuttle service inside the premises and organized one hour bus trip to take visitors around the campus, showing various departments and activities happening insdie the premises.
Lots of people go there as picnic spot, to spend time with family and friends.
We spent an hour in the premises and left the place.
