TEMPLE VISIT - GURUVAYOORAPPAN TEMPLE

Sunday, 28th July 2019
Visiting places.

With Suresh Usha Cukkemane, we planned for visits to few places on Sunday and after breakfast, at 9 am left from home for the trip.

First was visit to Guruvayoorappan Temple in Kanakapura Road, a distance of 45 km from Bengaluru, the temple is on a small diversion from the main road.

It's a small temple on a private land near water canal, not so old, (may be 20 years) on a clean and neat garden atmosphere. Many devotees attend the place, especially from Kerala for functions like Namakarana, Annaprashana, Homa shanthi etc etc. There is small hall behind the temple.

The main deity is Krishna, beautifully decorated, and people must visit removing shirt. and white panche (waisti) available at the entrance, for use and return with no charge.

We spent about half hour in the calm and serene atmosphere and left the place.
