"SHASTABDI" is to celebration on completion of 60 years in one's life, and some rejoice in a grand scale with relatives. friends and well wishers.
Sudhaker Rao Pejavar, long time friend and a well wisher from Dubai years, was celebrating his completing 60 years with his wife Latha, son Vikas, Daughter-in-law, Shwetha, at VidyaPeeta, a Pejavar Krishna Temple premises.
Friends and relations gathered in large numbers to join the celebrations. There were number of rituals performed by Purohits, watched by all well wishers. There was also small Bhajan session with Ramachandra Udupa, Vani Bhat, Vishala Bhat and Myself. It was appreciated by all present.
There were particularly a celebration where a number of ladies were honoured with number of giveaways including saree, rice, coconut, flower, kumkum and Haldi.
Special attraction was Swamijis of Pejavar mutt, both senior and junior, Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji and Sri Vishwa Prasanna Thirtha Swamiji were brought in a procession with Poorna Kumbha. They were honoured with garland, Phala Pushpa and they gave blessing to Pejavars and all those present.
Grand lunch followed with 3 - 4 sweets, gifts and other things.
Photo session followed with SudhakerRao couple, his son VikasRao and daughter-in-law Shwetha.
Then it was time to thank Pejavers and wish him God's Blessings for a nice get-together.
