Two theatre actors. Now aged. Quite aged. Equally talented but cannot shed their egos. Once upon a time, they were a popular pair. For reasons best known to them, they stopped seeing each other, they stopped talking to each other. They last appeared on stage some 16 years ago. Now there is an opportunity (opportunity? to come on stage together. They have to forget their acrimony and come on stage. Is it possible to celebrate friendship after a long separation? Is a new life possible?
The celebrity actors MUKHYA MANTRI CHANDRU and SIHIKAHI CHANDRU.
Umakanth and Chandrakanth are their stage names.
In another episode Ramaswamy and Krishnaswamy are their drama names.
A middle man, forces them to start acting again together. Their ego will not permit them.
Both of them are in their old age. Family problems. Son's family won't treat them properly.
They are happy on the park bench and outside their homes.
Age Related Degeneration ,(ARD) Forgetfulness, hearing problems and other health issues.
One guy (MukhyaMantri) has Cardiac arrest while talking to each other.
Other guy (Sihikahi Chandru) has mixed feelings.
The house full show of 90 minutes has full laughter for humorous dialogues, sarcastic remarks and effective acting,
Simple stage setting, mild music at certain times caught audience with good feelings.
After the show, big crowd outside for pictures.
We were also among them.
