Bnegaluru Pustaka Pradhikara, (Bengaluru Book Authority) of Govt. Of Karnataka, organized Books release of 21 new Kannada books written by various authors at Nayana Sabhangana, in the morning 10.30am.
As we reached at 11am, the program started, number of distinguished persons seated on the dias. Writer, poet Sri H S VenkateshaMoorthy was the Chief guest.
After the welcome speech by a senior official and introduction to the various activities by the Prsident of Pradhikara, Mrs Vasundhara Bhoopathi, distinguished people released the books.
The chief guest, H S VenkateshMoorthy addressed the gathering and said writing, publishing books is not a business, but must be culture.
"DUNDI SOOJI" by H DundiRaj was one of the books released
Readers speeches followed, some of them were quite partial and individual opinions.
Lunch coupons were given, however, we left from the program and returned home.
