ME AND URVI |
That was beautiful presentation of Odissi Dances by three groups as part of NAMAN Festival 2023 at ADA RangaMandira, Bengaluru.
PREETISHA MOHAPATRA (BHUVANESHWAR)
The solo dance by Preetisha Mohapatra from Bhuvaneshwar, was amazing, Almost 20-minutes long dance was full of body movements, facial expressions and flexibility of the body
Odissi is a classical India dance form and it originates from the state of Odisha. It is a sensuous and lyrical dance form. Considered a dance of love, it touches on the human and the divine aspects of life. It also touches on the subtleties of life, as well as the mundane.
NRITYANTAR (BENGALURU)
COLOURS OF KRISHNA
The other group Odissi Dancers from Nrityantara and Nritygram were also very subtle, charming and beautifully presented the dance.
