A week before decided to go to Dubai to attend "VIMSHATHI VAIBHAVA" - 20 years closing celebration, on Saturday 13th April 2024, of UAE Brahmana Samaja , Dubai.
Applied for visit visa through ATLYS, which came through in 4 days.
Day 1: Thursday 11th April 2024:
Landed at Sharjah International Airport in the morning 7 am, having left Bangalore International Airport Terminal 2, at 4.15 am

Ashok Kalpana came to Airport to receive us and took us to their home in Sharjah for freshening up and for breakfast.
After lunch he took us to Ananth Tantry's house at Ghusais, where we stayed for three nights. In the evening we all went to Sudhakar Rao Pejavar's apartment at BurDubai for get-together of Sugama Bhajane Group and dinner .
Pushpa-Madhu, Supriya Prashanth Anirudh, AshokKalpana & children, RavirajPratima Ananth Tantry,Sandhya. It was nice get-together.
Day 2 : Friday 12th April 2024
Breakfast and lunch at SandhyaTantry's house and in the afternoon went with Sridhara Bhat's house at Mirdif area and later to Prema(Ourown Teacher) Ravi's house, had dinner (PooriSaagu) and was dropped back to Tantry's house by Sridhar Bhat.
Day 3: Saturday, 13th April 2024
"Vimshathi Vaibhava " Sambhrama. went to the venue "Dubai Baccaleurate Schaool" at Jumeira, Dubai in the morning by 8 am, breakfast there and program started by 9.30 am.
Whole day program with lunch, Dance, Yakshagana, Sanmana, Lucky Dip, etc etc

Retuned to Tantry's house by 9 pm.
Day 4: Sunday, 14th April 2024
SouraMaana Yugadi Festival, at SandhyaTantry's house, breakfast.
Raviraj Tantry came to pick us and next few days to stay with him.
Day 5 : Monday 15th April 2024
Went to Al Warqa Girls by mistake and then to OurOwn Warqa Boys school , where I worked for 24 years (1986 - 2010)
Met Principal Dr Anjuli Moorthy, Supervisor's, Teachers and were all happy.
(Anitha Nair, Geetha Jayaprakash, Mini Alexander. Kanchana Sudhir , Devika Shetty, Harman Gomes, Neelima Nanda, Prema Ravi, J S Yadav, Rashid, HilalYusuf, Nancy (Receptionist) and many others.
Went to Hindu Temple, Dubai, and then to GuruDwaara, had Langar (Lunch).
Visited Anushree (D/O Sudhakar Shetty) at her Post Card Coffee Shop at the upscale Jumeira lake Towers area.
Then to Global Village, spent some time going around and came to visit KavithaPraksh Upadhya, proceeded to Al Hamba (Formerly Venus Restaurant) at Ghusais and returned to Raviraj House.
Day 6: Tuesday 16th April 2024
Dubai/Sharjah sees unprecedented rain wind fury, throughout the day, cars submerged, water clogging and water pools on the road, plan to go to Abudhabi to Visit BAPS Hindu Temple is abandoned, stayed home.
Day 7: Wednesday 17th April 2024
As roads in Dubai and Sharjah are flooded and water ponds, did not dare to venture out, little shopping at NESTO Mall, lunch at Vasanth Bhavana, back home watch movie and spent time.
Supposed to fly to Bangalore tonight , but learnt that flights cancelled. Shahzad Naqvi (Air Arabia personal, was a student at OurOwn) rebooked flight for Thursday 18th April .
Day 8: Thursday, 18th April 2024
Morning little shopping around, lunch at Raviraj's house, 5 pm left early for Sharjah Airport, to avoid delay on the road, at two points water clogging, managed and reached by 6pm. Thanks to Raviraj Pratima, who took care of us nicely and dropped by him.
Finished the formalities early, roamed around, spent time, had dosa in the food court, checked in, flight departed at 10.30pm
Next morning (Friday 19th April) reached Bengaluru at 4am, cleared the formalities, Rishi was there at arrival, came home by 5 pm.
Good trip, except for unable to go out for three days.
