Academy of Music, Bengaluru, organized a three day Kannada Natakotsava "RANGA RANGOLI" at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru, on 11, 12, 13th May 2018.
The second day of drama was "NANTU - IDDARE HEEGOO UNTU" - by Greenroom Club Drama group headed by Smt. Bhargavi Narayan, celebrity serial actor and a senior stage artist. The hilarious play was written and directed by Bhargavi Narayan, is a 100 - minutes social drama.
With only six characters in the play, all have acted superbly in their role.
The story line is about a young couple could not get along well and applied for divorce. Shankar, a serial producer, wants to divorce his wife who is living separately, and marry a young trendy girl, 15 years younger to him.
An issue comes up with his accounts and his friend tries to bring in his wife closer to him. Another friend, a celebrity cricketer, comes in to mend his estranged friend Shankar's divorce case.
The events that follow will make Shankar to realize that his wife loves him and wants to get back and they unite together.
The stage set up with a nice house living room, entry and exit, lighting are all good.
Smt Bhargavi Narayan's entry and exit makes the play very lively and hilarious.
