Beatrice Hegde, wife of K Shankar Hegde, passed away on Wednesday 22nd July in Bengaluru,
Shankar Hegde has been colleague in Our Own High School, Al Warqa, Dubai for many years. He was Physical Education Teacher and was coach for Cricket, Volleyball , throwball and other games.
His wife Beatrice, from Sri Lanka, was also a celebrity sportswoman in those days, The article below gives full details about her accomplishments as sportswoman.
She was also Physical Education Teacher in GEMS Group Indian School.
As they are close friend, they attended Ravikanth's wedding reception in May 2010.
in 2008, we attended house warming ceremony of another P.E. Teacher Hemanth Kumar in Bengaluru. Colleagues from Our Own are seen along with Mrs. and Mr Shankar Hegde.
She was 70 years, without much suffering she passed away after a brief illness.
