17th July 2023
Mother's anguish and tension wriiten in Facebook...
After Rishi's return from Himachala Pradesh Hamta Pass Trek in the Monsoon
Our son
He started on last Thursday 6th July 2023 from Bengaluru.
Reaching Delhi and to Manali, then to base camp for the trek.
They started and climbed 8000 feet on first day and the second day was
11000 feet.
But the rains started pouring, bridge washed off, land slide on road sides. Continued rains made them to stay there at the second camp tents for three days.
The food finished on the third day completely. Luckily the rain slow down and they started coming back to base camp.
The bridge was washed out and this is how (shown in pic), they had to reach the other side on the rope like zipline pass.. In bringing their bags, someone's bag which contained RS.50.000 fell off and washed away. But thankfully all the 25 reached safely on the trek journey back to Manali Hotel which the camp organizers arranged.
Luckily at the end of the day, at night electricity restored and everything was coming back to normal slowly. Next morning the sun showed his face and no rains there in Manali.
But hevoc on roads. Heavy rush, traffic to reach Delhi. Three people from
Bangalore including our son chose, next day to travel on the road to Mandi,
Hariyana and Delli. Yesterday morning they reached Delli and today in Bangalore by 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
Thanks to God for my life time anguish.
The thoughts rolled and rolled until we could hear that they are safe, in the camp and they will be back to Manali by next day.
Once again Thank You God for everything.
