DHATRI VANA - VILLAGE ATMOSHPERE

Kesaramadu, Kyatasandra, Near Tumakuru.

Dhatri Vana is Home away from Home in a village for a day.

It's about 65 Km from Bengaluru, in Keasaramadu place of Kyatsandra Village of Tumakuru District.

Dhatri Vana, activites for a day is organized by owner of the house Ravi and his wife.

Groups more than 15 is registered for the day for stay from 9 am to 6 pm

Weekends more tha 60 -70 are registered for the visit and spend time. Ravi says.

We 6 people Nagaraj, Shantala, Raghavendra Upadhya, Veena, Nalini and myself joined a group of 25 on that day.

After the arrival of people, there is pooja ia room, which is more 300 years, and Ravi says , he is 7th generation living in the house.

Food : Morning breakfast with ottu Shyavige, pongal, coffee/tea

OTTU SHYAVIGE

Snacks: Avalakki, kadle, majjige

Lunch : White rice, ganji with uppinakai/chatni, raagi rotti, akki rotti, rasam, kosambari, mosaru, gasgase payasa.

Evening : Tea/coffee.

Six activities are organized for the visit:

1. Useful product for waste (Kasadinda Rasa)

2. Visit to the Arac nut trees farm

3. Drawing water from the well

4. Raagi beesu (Grinding Raagi)

5. Write kannada Aksharamaale and numbers 1 to 100

6. Write numbers 300 to 1

Games organized:

1. Throwing pawn (Daala) for number 12

2. Throwing Kavade , and write 100 to1 when you get number 2. snatch pen from those who is writing.

3. Similar to Bingo game, with letters from the name and phone number.

Evening prize distribution and winners of the activities and games.

Take away bag include, southekai, mangalooru saouthekai, beans, green chilli, seeme badanekai, kottamabari leaves.

GOODI BAG - VEGETABLES

Day was spent nicely, with vegetables got from the farmers, cooked nicely, with lot of pure ghee and a pleasant atmosphere.

Left by 6.30 pm and reached home by 8.30 pm

VOCAL CONCERT - SAKETHARAMAN

SUR BHARATHI AUDITORIUM, Bengaluru

That was a nice music vocal concert by Vidwan Saketharaman at Sur Bharathi Auditorium

That was also SHATAMANA MAHOTSAVA of Brahmana Samooham, "NADALAHARI MUSIC FESTIVAL"

Vocal rendition of Carnatic classical music was excellent.

Wish the artist and their team a bright future.

31 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವ - ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತ ವೇದಿಕೆ

ವಿನಾಯಕ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ, ಅರ್. ಟಿ. ನಗರ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು.

ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ 31 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವು ವಿನಾಯಕ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯ ರೂಪಕ ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪನ್ನ ಗೊಂಡಿತು.

ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಾ. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಕರ ಚಡಗ ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಭಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಎಲ್.ಜಿ. ಮೀರಾ ಅವರು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಇವರು ಗಳು ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತರ ಜೀವನ, ಸಾಧನೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಡಾ ದೀಪಾ ಫಡ್ಕೆ ಯವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ "ಕಡಲು ತೀರದ ಭಾರ್ಗವ" ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತ ಇವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಅವರೇ ಒಂದು ಕಡಲು ಎಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರಿನವಿದೂಷಿ ಡಾ. ಕ್ರಪಾ ಫಡ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂಡದವರಿಂದ " ಭಾವಯಾಮಿ ರಘುರಾಮಂ" ನ್ರತ್ಯ ರೂಪಕವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ದರು.

ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರಂತ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳೂ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳೂ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆಸಕ್ತರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀಮತೋ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಶರಣ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಛಾಯಾ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯ ಅವರಿಂದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯ ಗೊಂಡಿತು.
