Sheik Mahaboob Subhani and his wife Kaleeshabi Mahaboob, the nadaswaram couple, are disciples of the celebrated vidwan, late Sheik Chinna Moulana Sahib. They are also the asthana vidwans of Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham.
We witnessed three hour continuous Nadaswara Concert on the evening Sunday at Surabharathi auditorium.
It is just amazing that elderly couple playing the wind instrument "NADASWARA", effortlessly, with devotion and conviction.
Number of favourite raaga, keerthanas, bhajans played in cordination with accopmpanying musicians was simply fantastic.
That was well spent evening with Ravi, Vidya and Urvi.
