“ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಬ್ರೈನ್”

ಇವತ್ತು ಭಾನುವಾರದ ಪೇಪರನ್ನು ಪುರುಸೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುವಾಗ “ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಬ್ರೈನ್” ಎನ್ನುವ ಅಂಕಣ ಬರಹ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು. ನಾನೇನು ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಪ್ರಿಯಳಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ತಲೆಬರಹ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆದದ್ದಂತೂ ಹೌದು!

ಓದಿದಾಗ ಇಡೀ ಲೇಖನ ನನಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಕನೆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಿನ ಬುಲೆಟ್ ವೇಗದ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೊಂದು ವಿಚಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ ವಿವರಣೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆ ಲೇಖನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಹೇಗೆ ಪಟಪಟನೆ ಸಿಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಡಿಯತೊಡಗಲು ಈಗಿನ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರಿವೆ ಎಂಬುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವಿತ್ತು.

“ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮರ್ಕಟ” ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಲ್ಲ ವಿಷಯವೇ! ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸುಲಭದ ವಿಷಯವಲ್ಲ. ನನಗಂತೂ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾಗಿರದೆ ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚನೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಕಾಟ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಯಾಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹಲವಾರು ಬಾರಿ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಪಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ರಿಲ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಧ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವು ಸಲ ಧ್ಯಾನದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯೊಳಗಾಗುವ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ಮಂಥನದಿಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಐಡಿಯಾಗಳು ಉದ್ಭವವಾದದ್ದೂ ಇದೆ!?

ನನ್ನ ವಯೋಮಾನದವರ ಬದುಕು ಒಂದು ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗಿನ ವ್ಯಸನವೂ ಇದೆ. ಅದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಹನ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾದದ್ದೂ ಇದೆ. ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಲಿತದ್ದೂ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿನ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ/ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈಗಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಕಥೆ ಏನಾಗಬಹುದು? ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅವರ ಹತೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆ? ಅವರ ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಬ್ರೈನ್ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಬಹುದು? ಲೇಖನ ಓದಿ ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಸಿಡಿದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಡಿದದ್ದಂತೂ ನಿಜ. ಇದಕ್ಕುತ್ತರ ಅಥವಾ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಯಾರು?

The session started at 6.45pm  IST with "Lalitha Sahasranama" Parayana was performed by all present .

The session continued with Omkaara, Ganesha Sthuthi and others Bhajans by all individuals present.

That was devine session of Bhajans, with devotion and dedication.

IRUGAPATRU - TAMIL MOVIE

We rarely watch movies, that at home.

This Tamil Language Movie 'IRUGAPATRU" (Holding Tight) caught our attention and decided to watch in Kannada. 

It's good movie, specially for married couples (Husband & Wife), to overcome relationship issues, and to live happily,  understanding each other.

The movie revolves around three married couples, each having some issue in their relationship.

Mitra-Manohar, Divya - Arjun, Pavitra - Rangesh are the three married couples.

Mitra is marriage counsellor, Divya is Software and Rangesh also a Techie.

Communicate, Co-operate, Connection and Compramise are the key factors is what the movie talks about.

Moral of the Movie....When our partners action do not meet our expectation, hold for a while, look within before reacting.

The film stars Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath, Vidharth, Sri, Abarnathi, and Saniya Iyappan. It was released theatrically on 6 October 2023. It received highly positive reviews from critics and became a box office success.

It's romantic, Drama Film, Written and  directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan.

SHILHAANDARA - THEME RESORT

Shilhaandara Resort, Near Ramanagara, Bengaluru.

A thematic arts and sports village, inspired by ancient architecture offering dayout packages and premium stay.

A dayout package was taken by ShubhaRaghu (daughter and S-I-L) to clebtare Birthday of Lahari, who turns out 18 today.

THE STAR OF THE DAY

Our group of 14 people with two kids met at LokaRuchi Restaurant near Ramanagra by 10 am and had breakfast with idli, vada, dosa, puri and what not and reached the resort by 11am, which is about Km from Ramanagara.

After a welcome drink, it was time for fun activities in the open.

1, QuadBike rides.

Most of the people in the group enjoyed the rough quad bike ride for fun.

2. ZIPLINE 

READY FOR ADVENTURE. LAHARI, KAVITH, NALINI

A ride on a string (Zipline) - A few among gang (Lahari, Nalini, Kavitha) took courage to take the ride.

3. ZORBING

Thrlling ride inside a huge rubber globe.

4. Target Shooting:

Post lunch session:

Buffette lunch provided with both vegetarian and Non- vegetarian items.

5. Rain Dance:

With water sprinkling from the top, heavy music, and coloured light, people seen dancing to the tune of the music.

6. Swimming pool:

At 5 pm, again  we gathered in a beautiful area of the resort, overlooking rocky mountains, again cutting of cake prepared by Mom.

The day ended by 6 pm, when all dispersed to their homes.

That was great day, where everyone enjoyed.

LAHARI - 18 HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Shilaandhara Resort, Near Ramanagara, Bengaluru.

It's joyous ocassion for Lahari (Granddaughter), D/O ShubhaRaghu, who turns 18 today.

Close family members travelled to Shillaandhara Resort to celebrate and spend the day.

After the cake cutting, it was time for activities in the premises like Quad Bike, Zipline, Zorbing.

In the post- lunch session, people enjoyed Rain Dance with heavy music, and swimming.

In the evening at 5 pm again we had cake cutting at the nice location, with amazing rocks at the background and beautiful surroundings.

 

That was memorable day for celebrating LAHARI - 18 Birthday.

SRI DURGAPARAMESHWARI TEMPLE - NANDIKOOR

Nandukoor, near Padubidri, Udupi Dist.

On our way back from Santhoor, after lunch, Nandikoor was on the way, so decided to take detour the Temple.

As it was after 3 pm, temple was closed and hardly anyone around. After some time, someone from the temple came and opended the huge old temple.

The temple is about 1200 years old, and Durgaparameshwari is the Goddess.

As per the story of Devi, Arunasura Rakshasa (Demon) secures special powers, from Brahma and wrecks havoc on earth. Godess Durga descends on earth and confronts Arunasura and kills him.

"Nandyuramma" also called by disciples, has large temple premises which was further renovated by devotees and dedicated team to improve the temple.

One special attraction about the temple is Golden plated "Dhwaja Sthambha"

We spent some time around, had darshana and left from the place.
