It's the pre-wedding party and wedding celebrations of Akhila and Arun at HireHalli, a small place about 18km from Sringeri, ob Jaipura Road.
When we reached Sringeri, it was dark had no clue about the place and the distance. However, proceeded on and on and reached finally at 8pm at the Ganapathy Temple, where flute concert by Sridhar was organized. The program went on till 9.30pm and accompanying artist violin and tabla were also good. After dinner, drove back to Sringeri and could get two rooms at the guest house at Rs.300 only for each room with two beds and attached bath and toilet facilities.
Morning 6am we were ready to visit Sharadamba Temple and the surroundings. Spent some time on the river Tunga banks watching fishes grabbing the food thrown by devotees.
At 10.30 am again we reached HireHalli ganapathy Temple, venue of the wedding which was traditional with lot of formalities and procedures, after which there was grand lunch as usual.
Left by 2 pm and returned to Udupi at 6 pm.
