We were on the way to Rangashankara to watch a Kannada Drama and MTR is on the way.
We parked the car near Lal Bagh, in a compound and went into the Restaurant.
DAHI VADA PLAIN DOSA
Normaly, in the evening hours the place is crowded, when we have to wait to get our seats, but we found that it had place to sit.
MTR was starteed in 1924, as a small Brahmins Coffee Club by Parameshwara Maiyya, Ganapayya Maiyya and Yagnanarayana Maiya from Kota, near Udupi.
In 1960, the place shifted to present location in Lal Bagh Road, grew it's stature and name.
We had Dahi Vada, Plain Dosa (Rs 95) for me and Mom ordered Masala Dosa (Rs.100)
COFFEE
Coffee has to follow after the tiffin.
It was a stomach filling stuff and we left from the place after paying the bill of Rs.330
