TRIP TO OORU (12 - 18 Feb.2022)

VISITING OORU

DAY1 (Sat, 12 Feb.2022)

Leave home at 7 am, dropped at KSRTC bus stand by Rishi. to catch 8.00 Airavat Bus to Udupi. Breakfast at Kamats, Lunch at Sakaleshpur, Reach Udyavara at 6.30pm

Attending Get-together of Upanayana of Aditya at Padu Alevoor Kalyana Mantapa.

Fun, Games, Dance, songs and dinner.

Returned to Birthi, Salekeri at 11pm.

DAY 2 (Sun, 13 Feb. 2022)

After bath, Pooja, reach Udyavara at 8.30 am, then to Kalyana Manatapa at Alevooru.

Upanayana Celebrations, Dibbana, Breakfast and then rituals of Thread ceremony and Brahmopadesha.

Grand Lunch (Feast), 4.30pm reach Udyavara, 6.00pm to Pandukal, near Shivapura for Darshana and Kola Festival.

Returned to Udyavara, then to Birthi by 10.30pm

Day 3 (Mon. 14th Feb.2022)

7.00 am to Manipal Sanjivini Yogadana of Prabhakara Upadyaya for Yoga session, returned by 9.00am and then breakfast.

Morning to Udupi, Sri Krishna Darshana and Grand feast at Chouki.

Visit to Chandrashekara Adiga at Kadiyali, and returned to Birthi

Day 4 (Tue. 15th Feb.2022)

Morning leave at 8.am, to Udyavara, Kadiyali and reached Dharmasthala by 11 am.

Darshana of Manjunatha Swamy, the lunch at temple Annaprasada Gruha.

3.00 pm to Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple at SOUTHDAKA, (20 KM from Dharmasthala)

4.30pm to Sri Sadashiva Rudra Deavasthana at Surya, (4 km from Ujire)

Reach Udyavara at 7.30 pm and then home Birthi at 8.30 pm

Day 5 (Wed. 16th Feb.2022)

Morning 7 am to Manipal Yoga Centre of Prabhakara Upadhyaya, a session of Yoga, returned to Birthi, and breakfast.

Bath, Pooja and then to Salekeri Sri DurgaParameshwari Temple, Chandika Homa, Oota.

4.30pm Visit to Padmanabha Sahasra at Gundmi, the Anegudde Mahaganapathi Temple, to Koteshwara, could not visit the temple due to rush, visit to Sushravya at Parampalli and the back home.

8pm to Bada Salekeri pooja and procession with all paraphernelia, back home by 10pm

Day 6 (Thur. 17th Feb. 2022)

Morning visit to Kameshwara, Mahabaleshwara Adiga (Family Purohitha became old), was happy to see me and got full blessings. (Dakshine Rs 500)

12.00 noon to Garadi mane for Chandika Homa, Poornahuthi, Mangalarathi and Oota.

Evening visit to Brahmavara for some purchases and back to Garadimane for DAKKE BALI program,Nagapooje and Vaidya dance.

Oota and came back home.

Day 7 (Fri. 18th Feb.2022)

Morning 7.30am, after bath, pooja and breakfast, left from Birthi, to Udyavara.

9.30 bus to Mangalore, got Auto to reach Junction railway Station.

Travel by VISTADOME coach, leaving at 11.30 from Mangalore.

Beautiful view and scenary, spacious coach, huge windows for better view, smooth run.

Reached Bangalore Yashwanthpur Station at 8.45pm, got platform buggy to reach exit point.

Booked Wuber taxi, reached Birthimane at Bengaluru, Home sweet Home.

All's well, Ends well, Thanks to Almighty God.
