PaduKudru Vittala Rao, now 91 years old living alone in a small house in CoffeeBoard Layout, Bengaluru.
His wife passed away about three years ago.

He served as teacher, Headmaster and Principal at S M S High School, Brahmavar for 35 years.

I was student in that school till my 10th Std (SSLC), that was in 1963.
He retired in 1989m after 35 years of service, and since then he has been living in Bengaluru.

Vittala Rao Sir is straight forward, tall and lean gentleman, came to Bangalore more than 30years ago after his retirement for SMS Brahmavar School.

I go to his house once week or a fortnight and spend some time and give company. He talks about his colleagues from school, interesting things happening those days when there was no mobile phones, internet and TV.
Recently I was there at his house with Sridhar Rao from Dubai/Bangalore and Chittranjan Hegde from Ooru.
