KHAADI UTSAV 2023 (ಖಾದಿ ಉತ್ಸವ)

Tripura Vahini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.

That was an event organized by Karnataka Government Khadi and Rural Employment Mandali at Palace Gounds.

More than 200 shops, from various palces of Karnataka were displayed with whares and goods.

Merchandise varied from dresses, sarees,  handbags, local madicines, decorative items and many more.

UPI payments was difficult as network was very difficult.

However, we purchased few items and spent about two hours.

BOOK RELEASE AT SUCHITRA FILM SOCIETY

SUCHITRA FILM SOCIETY, Bengaluru.

We were there at the following four books release at the Suchitra Film Society Auditorium.

That was a special ocassion where highly learned people spoke on the issue of Sanatana Dharma and the forces working against the religion.

Shatavadhani R Ganesh, Scholar and good speaker on any subject, Sri Bikku Bhuddadatta, and Dr G.B Harish writer staunch opponent of Communism. He says Gandhi Socialism is nothing bu Communism, wher China is propagating through various means,

Dr Harish was very vocal and strong against the spreading of left wing thinkers and communist idealogies.

Sri Rohith Chakratirtha, writer and organizer of the event, was also critical about the "Buddhi Jeevigalu" and so called "Chintakaru"

We were able meet and talk to Sri S N Sethuram, of Serial "Yuganthara" and also Sri Sripathi ManjanaBailu and bought some books.

VISIT TO LAL BAGH

Lal Bagh, (Udyanavana) Bengaluru

LAL BAGH IS Internationally renowned as a centre for botanical artwork and conservation of plants, Lalbagh is one of the most scenic gardens in the state. 

Sprawling over an area of 240 acre, the park draws visitors in large numbers with its popular glass house and also serves as a home for as many as 1,854 species of plants.

Every year, during Republic Day there is flower show organized by department of Horticulture and Mysuru Horticulture Scierty, which last for about 10 days and thousands of visitors come to the place each day.

This year Theme is "Evolution of Bengaluru" and Amrutha Mahotsava of India's Independance.

We were there for about an hour, going round. As it was Sunday, the crowd ws huge.

Entry Fee for Adult Rs 75/-

REPUBLIC DAY 2023

Coffee Board Park, Kempapura, Bengaluru.

Kannada Sahitya Parishath, Byatarayanapura Constituency area usually organizes Flag Hoisting Ceremony for Republic Day Celbrations.

Morning at 8.00 am Flag hoisting was done by a dignitary, with children march from Suma Public School and in the presence of citizens living around the area.

JANA - GANA - MANA Rashtra Gite was sung by all present and 

I WAS THERE.....

BOLO BHARATH MAATA KI JAI,  VANDE MAATHARAM slogans were raised.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATHARV- 22 months

I Life Apartments, B 705, DevarabeesanaHalli, Bengaluru.

Atharv S/O Rishikanth Kavitha, is 22 months as of today.

Last month, we were at Birthi, Salekeri and we had Satyanarayana Pooja at Home and oota.

This month, we went to the apartment on 26th Jan, as it is Republic Day Holiday.

We cut the cake prepared by Mom and decorated by Kavitha.

Had lunch there and left the place by 6 pm

WEDDING - SONAKSHI/ASHWATH

Balan Resort and Convention Centre, J P Nagara, Bengaluru.

Vijayakrishna Samaga and wife Malini are friends from our Dubai years.

Their daughter Sonakshi's wedding was in Bengaluru, they specially called and invited us to attend the wedding and sent us the special invitation card.

We were there at the venue little late as it was one hour forty five minutes derive from our house in Bhuvaneshwarinagar, Hebbal.

It was agrand wedding in a beautiful farm environment and lovely ambiance, and beautifully decorated with flowers.

There were many friends from Dubai and Abudhabi, meeting after a long time.

It was more of get-together and socialization.

Grand lunch follows with many sweets, see it in the menu card.

Spent some more time chatting and talking and left from the place.
