KUSUMA

It was those days, when we used to school from our house at Birthi, Salekeri, 

then, after returning from school, in the evening playing at home,

their house was just a wall across, with a door,

Kusuma, we used to call her Baabu, breathed her last yesterday morning (3/3/2023)

She was D/O Baikady Venkatakrishna Rao,

Rakesh and Ritesh are sons, Yogish Karanth, her husband.

Little more than a month ago, we visited their home at RajaRajeshwarinagar.

Sent a condolence message to her son Rakesh:

Hello Rakesh

Very sad to hear about demise of your mother, (aachemane baabu. We used call her) Please accept our heartfelt condolences, God to give you strength to bear the loss.

May her soul rest in peace.😔

and he replied:

Yes feeling sad every thing happened so quickly didn’t even realise today we don’t have Amma

Today is punarvasu nakshathra which my nakshathra .Amma choose this day.

Sumathi (Bulli), who passed away recently and Gowri are her sisters.

However, it's only the memories remain to cherish.

at Vaikuntha Samaradhane, Hayagreeva Dharmika Mandira, Pushpagiri, Bengaluru.

Life's lesson..... when the time comes..... leave this world quietly....
