PRADHAN MANTRI SANGRAHALAYA

 Sunday 2nd June 2024

Teen Murthi Marg, New Delhi.

We were on visit to Delhi to attend the wedding of Samhita-Naman, and we took some to visit the Prime Minister's museum.

We spent more than two hours at the venue, went round the exhibition halls, as it was Sunday, place was crowded.

The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a tribute to every Prime Minister of India since Independence, and a narrative record of how each one has contributed to the development of our nation over the last 75 years

There are two buildings, separated by large grass lawn, First one is the old building, narrating about the pre-independance era, constitution, and the second one digital era with with PMs after Shastri.

The Sangrahalaya is a seamless blend which begins at the renovated and refurbished Nehru Museum building, Story is a message for the younger generation: there are greater horizons to conquer as we transform India into New India.

As it was closing at 6 pm, we spent some more time around and left by wuber taxi, back to hotel, Le Meridian, Gurugram, where we were staying for the night.

That was a short visit with the time available to us in Delhi.
