OMKARESHWARA TEMPLE VISIT

Sri Dwadasha JyothirLinga Temple, it is called in the Omkar Hills in the outskirts of Bengaluru.



Sri Dwadasha Jyothirlinga (12) Devasthana is a unique and gigantic temple. Inside the main temple, these twelve are seen alsong with Sri VidyaGanapathi, Sri Subramanya, Kalabhairava under one roof, each with an individual GarbhaGraha and Vimana Gopura. Divine mother Shakthi in the form of Sri Yantra.



Out of twelve JyothirLingas, Sri Omkareshwra Jyothirlinga, measuring about 6 feet,and occupies the place of pride with Spatika Shree Yantra at the centre of the temple encircled by other eleven Jyothirlingas.



The place is more of picnic spot rather than devotion, people come there to spend the evening or afternoon, as an outing place. It is new temple compared to older temple where you feel the vibration and energy.



It was an hour's visit and one can walk around the premises, viewing the growth of MahaNagara, Bengaluru.
