It was those days when I was working at General Murtala Mohammed College (GMMC), Yola Nigeria, in 1982. We were also living in the school quarters in wooden house surrounded by trees. I was also using Volkswagon Beatle Car.
He was born at Yola Hospital, with Doctor Mohapatra attending to her delivery process. Prema Sundaresans, close family friend, was with her, supporting her.
After a whole night of delivery pain, a boy was born and we named him Ravikanth.
Now he lives in his own apartment at K R Puram, Bengaluru, with his wife Vidya, and we were there during lunch time with a cake prepared with love from Mom.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAVIKANTH.
We cut the cake, had lunch and returned.
