Brahmavara.
Our visit to school coincided with the happening of Solar Eclipse. As Abhilasha is the Principal of the school and some children coming there to witness the Eclipse in the morning we also joined the event.
SMS English Medium School is large school with more than 2300 students studying and about 200 on the teaching staff. About 40 buses commute the children from their homes from different parts.
The school has Atal Tinkering Lab supported by Central Government and other large laboratories. The school conducts number of extra curricular activities, exhibition etc.
We also spent some time watching the Solar Eclipse spectacle using solar shades and there were also simple device to reflect the image on the screen.
It was a meaningful and fruitful visit.
