A small number of people gathered at Vinayaka Temple Hall to pay repects to Sri C R Satya, who passed away recently.
Sridhar, President of Thoreau Foudation, chaired the meeting, with Veerashekhara Swamy presenting the proceedings.
Sri P. Chandrashekhara Chadaga spoke on the qualities of Satya, being a highly learned Scientist and Writer, was very simple person.
Mr Bhojappa, a very senior, 93 years old, spoke on the accomplishments of Satya, we will be missing him for ever, prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Mr. Jayarama Somayaji, also spoke about Satya, who was with is mingling and smiling, was great man, many have not realized. Books written by Satya was read and a famous poem
Veerashekhara Swamy proposed vote of thanks, people dispersed after tea and biscuits.
