SriSurbharathi Sringeri Temple, Kalyananagara, Bengaluru.
Akshrarabhyasa (Vidyarambha) is the ceremony performed by the child's father, along with family.
The child (Atharv) is seated on the lap of the parents (Rishianth & Kavitha), is made to write on rice spread on a tray or slate, holding the right hand forefinger.
That was a 20- minutes ceremony, where the purohith guides the procedure, which was performed with divinity.
The venue was the SriSurBharathi Sringeri Temple, devine surroundings.
The day was special, since Rudra rendering and Rudra Homa was being performed.
Shubha, Raghu, Ravi, Vidya and little Urvi were there.
There was Rudra Homa performed by the temple, which lasted upto 2 pm, after which we all had grand lunch.
