Wedding Sambhrama starts with "Naandi" and other related function.
"Samaavartahane" -- is the procedure where thr Groom pretends to go to Kashi (Varanasi) and the his maternal uncle stops him, and says there a girl (Bride) waiting and he should get married and continue his "Grhusthaashrama" and of course, the boy agrees.
The boy's sister (Deepa) joins in the celebrations, elders bless him and aarthi is performed.
Grand lunch follows after the procedure, and dispersed.
