TRIP TO OORU : 26 -28 Dec 2025

 Visiting Ooru

 26, 27, 28 December 2025

This time travelling ooru, attending number of programs, visiting temples, meeting people, pleasure trip in the boat, all were fantastic.

GURU NARASIMHA TEMPLE, SALIGRAMA

Left from Bengaluru on 25th night, 11pm in KSRTC Ambaari bus from Goruguntepalya, after reaching there by Wber Taxi

7 am next day reached Udyavara, had beautiful breakfast, proceeded to Birthi Salekeri (Home)

Friday Dec.26:

BATTE VINAYAKA TEMPLE, BARKURU

After bath, pooja at home, went to Barkur for Batte Ganapathi Darshana, then to GuruNarasimha Temple, Saligrama, had anna prasada and came home.

Evening 6pm off to Anegudde for Vinayaka Darshana, then to GuruNarasimha for Darshana, visiting Padmanabha Sahasra at Gundmi, had nice Pathrode.

From there altogether, Ramachandra Somayaji, Padmanabha Sahasra, Wife Shalini and we two went Balekudru for Yakshagana at Ramachandra Aithal'shouse premises.

After watching Yakshagana for sometime, had dinner and came back home.

Saturday, Dec 27

Morning after Pooja at home, went to Harady School, where they were celebrating "VIDYAMRUTHA", 75 years of Vidyamandira Higher Primary School, where I studies from Class 1 to 7, (1954 - 1961)

After lunch returned home for evening "SANGEETHA MALIKE"  music program and Nataka "HAKKI MATTU AVALU" at Home,  Annual program in memory of Late Srikanth Somayaji.

Sunday, Dec 28

Morning 5.30, all went to Mabukala for boat trip and watching sunrise.

Came home by 9 am, breakfast, bath and pooja, proceeded to M G M College Udupi at 11 am for Alumini Day.

After lunch at the college canteen, 4 pm to Udupi Railway station to catch Karwar Express special train to Bengaluru.

Monday, Dec 29

Reached Yeshwanthpura Railway Station at 4.30 am, reached Bengalur Home by 5 am.

The days of 27th and 28th December at Ajjayyana Mane will remain  in our hearts forever. The gentle embrace of the beach morning, the soulful music program, the moving play Hakki & Avalu, and that magical boat ride at dawn—two and a half hours of watching the sun rise and drenching ourselves in its sun light—each moment was a gift. Back at home, laughter mingled with the taste of delicious food, and Amma’s calm composure added a quiet grace to it all.  

Though we missed the presence of those who could not join us, their absence was felt deeply. Let us look forward to the next time, when all of us can come together, share more joy, and weave memories even richer than these.
