Siem Reap, Cambodia
We witnessed an amazing display talent of young Cambodians, with terrific vibe and energy.
It's daring, uniquely Cambodian, contained theater, dance, original live music, breathtaking circus arts, Cambodian stories, painting, both traditional and contemporary.
It's brilliant fusion of story telling and acrobats. It's emotional and personal.
The young men and women, exhibit fantastic display enthusiasm, energy with smiling faces. The movements and actions are perfect, synchronizing with live music by just two Cambodians.
The 75 minutes show ends with a compere appealing to all visitors to help "Phare artists", circus group, with generous donations.
"Phare" train artists at Phare Ponleu Selpak, the school that provide free public education and vocational arts training to children from disadvantages background. Started by young Cambodian refugees returning home after fall of Khmer Rouge regime, the school has more than 1200 students.
The training include circus, dance, theatre, music and visual arts.
The performance of the artists simply amazing.
