Drushya Kavya Group presented an excellent Kannada drama at Seva Sadana, Malleshwara.
This is the second drama by the group, earlier being "Sooryasthadinda Sooryodayada Varege" (ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ಥದಿಂದ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ವರೆಗೆ) also a very good presentation.
The story of the drama is by D K Chouta's Tulu drama, translated into Kannada.

The 70- year old chieftain of a community, "Heeggade" (Gurikaara) is a womanizer and does not leave any young girls. Though his wife ( not having children) chides and makes mockery of his ability to be a man, he overrules and abuses her and goes after young girls.

One time he comes across a young girl, "Chenni", gets her and goes to bed.
The girl is fascinated by the rich Heggade's house and environment. The girl is the daughter of the same mother Povamma, with whom Heegade slept and impregnated her 18 years ago, and the child was Chenni.
The Heggade gets shock of his life when he comes to know that he slept with his own daughter and dies due to shame.
The presentation, acting, delivery of dialogues, expression of the actors were very good. The story keeps the audience absorbed. The stage setting, costumes and lighting were good.
The music and songs were light and only added to effectiveness of the drama.
